We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families and friends!
We had a very low key day. The children opened their gifts. Unal glanced at his and I didn’t bother to open mine as I knew what it was. Sometimes I wish I was 4 again this Christmas some of the magic had gone! I still believe in Santa though and he came and had some mince pie so that was good.
I cooked an awesome lunch which was well received by Master-taster Unal
Unal was still very sick so slept most of the day which was disappointing for us lol but what can you do when you are ill!
I have had to explain each morning that Santa does only come once a year though, Eliza stares at me with a blank expression and walks away, probably thinking “she’s fibbing”
I am very excited about 2009 I have so many good feelings towards it, after an amazing year I hope next year is the same with even more goodness thrown in!
I hit the shops yesterday and wow oh wow there were people 50foot deep outside the Gucci shop, it was stupid I mean it’s Gucci we all like Gucci but why Queue up in the freezing cold to just get into the shop madness!!
Unal made Laura Mercier a little bit richer thanks to me lol and we went on our merry way having Breakfast at one of our fave little cafes on South Molton street, Eliza was like a jack in the box in the cafe, that is what happens when you stay inside for 3 days playing with toys and eating and sleeping you go nuts when you get out!
The sales are great this year, it’s a shame that it’s so vile to shop with the crowds and people get stupid over silly things and push you and it’s not worth it in my opinion.
Well we have a few days or normalcy and I intend to use them wisely I hope you do to!
