I am sure most of the people who have access to a TV or the Internet or newspapers have seen the utter devastation in Haiti.
It reminds me of the Tsunami and the huge numbers that died and the destruction left behind.
I am sure most people have chosen to donate already but if you haven’t then please research wisely remember that some charites seem to take a long time to hand over the dough and sometimes they don’t actually hand anything over. Use a legitimate charity many have been scammed by these “text” and donate scams.
Please take a look at Wyclef Jean’s donate website it is really easy to donate and 100% goes to the people of Haiti.
I chose this organisation as 100% of the donations go to them. Otherwise I was going to donate to one of the bigger ones. But Kirstie Alley mentioned it on Twitter yesterday and I checked it out from there and I am glad she did.
We know that times are hard in regards to finance, but if your child was left without you alone and desperate for a blanket or some water wouldn’t you want someone to donate what ever they could so there was at least some hope for them, I would.
