Even though I’ve always lived in a big city my whole life, I’ve always dreamt to move out one day to a more quiet place. I don’t know about you, but sometimes the busy city life gets to you and you just want to escape and live in a place where you can also relax when you come home after a day of work. This feeling of wanting to move came also when my daughters were born. I really want them to enjoy the outdoors to the maximum and living in a big city is not really helping with that.
In one of our family trips, I fell in love with Cheshire and I’ll be honest with you that’s where I’ld love to live. I mean, what’s not to love in Cheshire, it is a place with stunning architecture, gorgeous landscapes and great properties that you can choose from. Chester has such a unique look, with old buildings that give the city so much character. Here renting or buying a place is cheaper than renting or buying a place in Manchester for example.
Of course, if you look at the whole Cheshire area, there a property will end up being more expensive than in other places due to the gorgeous views that this area has to offer. I love Chester but I do believe that this city is more for students than for families, so I went on and researched some of the smaller villages from that Cheshire area. As I said in the beginning, we love the outdoors and if I can find a property that will help us spend more time in nature, I’m sold.
In my search for the perfect family home, I had some help from Laurus Homes. They have some amazing properties and I think you should check them out if you’re looking for a property in the Cheshire area. They also have an interesting infographic that will help you understand better the area and the property market there.
After all the information that I’ve gathered over the Cheshire area, I’m still in talks with my husband but I have the feeling that this is going to be it! We both loved everything that we saw, we loved the people and it’s only a matter of time until we can make our dream come true and move to this lovely place with our girls.
